The Fort Armstrong Wireless Association holds amateur radio testing sessions quarterly at the Armstrong County Emergency Operation Center at 131 Armsdale Road, Kittanning, PA. Those interested in testing to receive their FCC amateur radio license or to upgrade an existing license are welcome to attend.
The schedule for 2019 is as follows:
January 19 April 20 July 20 October 19
The sessions begin at 2pm. Walk-ins are welcome but we also appreciate knowing if you're coming. You may reply to this post with questions or to indicate you will attend.
The fee to take the test is $15 payable by cash or check. Please bring a photo ID and a copy of your current FCC license if you're looking to upgrade.
