The best way to test the MF-HF NBDP system is?
  • Make a radiotelephone call to a coast station.
  • Initiate an ARQ call to demonstrate that the transmitter and antenna are working.
  • Initiate an FEC call to demonstrate that the transmitter and antenna are working.
  • Correct Answer
Initiate an ARQ call to a Coast Station and wait for the automatic exchange of answerbacks.

The best way to test the MF-HF NBDP system is?

(D). Initiate an ARQ call to a Coast Station and wait for the automatic exchange of answerbacks.

MF-HF - Medium Frequency (300 kHz to 3 MHz)-High Frequency (3 MHz to 30 MHz)
NBDP - Narrow Band Direct Printing
ARQ - Automatic Repeat reQuest (or Query)

So, basically, it sends a message to the Coast Station saying, "Can you hear me?"
