Spring 2023 Tech Class

In conjunctionn with the testing session,we are offering a weekend Technician-class licensing course starting Friday, May 19th from 6pm to 9pm. The class continues on Saturday May 20 from 9am to approximately 5pm. A review will be offered Sunday morning on May 21 beginning at 9am, then the exam will begin at 1 pm. No time limit. The class and testing location is at the Sunset Bldg. for Benton County at 4077 SW Research Way, Corvallis OR. A side entrance door allowing access from the parking lot will be open. The class and exam room are on the bottom floor. optional book material is from the latest ARRL Ham Radio License Manual (July 2022 to June 2026 edition), a hard copy manual available from the ARRL on-line store for approximately $30. Other technician license study material that is current for the 2022 - 2026 period is perfectly good. It is highly recommended to register for a free account with HamStudy.org for on-line study material and practice testing. Walk-ins welcome, but please contact me in advance if possible to register for the class. The class portion is no charge (free); exam fee is $15, paid to the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).
