LaredoHams W5LRD Exam Session

If you have questions, call Van at 956-285-5274, or just come to the exam session. Most things can be resolved by a quick phone call or in-person at the exam session.

• The test is in-person only. You must be physically present to take the exam, regardless if the test is taken online or on paper.
• We strongly encourage you to sign up for the LaredoHams W5LRD June 22nd test session. Go to https://HamStudy.org and click on Find a Session.
• We strongly encourage you to create an account at https://HamStudy.org
• WALK-INS ARE ACCEPTED.

<< THINGS TO REMEMBER >>

• Try to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled session time
• Take a photo ID (or at least two non-photo forms of identification).
• Take your FRN (Federal Registration Number). If you don't have one, see the link below.
• The ARRL exam fee is $15 and will be collected before you take your exam
• We offer HamStudy.org exams on paper, or
• If you have a HamStudy.org account, the exam can be taken on one of our laptops or tablets or on your phone by logging in to https://ExamTools.org. The login is the same as your HamStudy.org account userid/password.

If you do not have an FRN, instructions for creating one can be found here: https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/support/knowledge-base/universal-licensing-system-uls-resources/getting-fcc-registration. If you are unable to create an FRN, come to the exam session anyway. We usually able to step thru the FRN applicaiton process with you onsite.
