You Must Have a FRN to TEST. It is a requirement! DO NOT COME TO TESTING OR PRE REGISTRAR FOR TESTING UNTIL HAVE YOUR FRN!! If you are testing for Technician and need a FRN go here to get one: Go to https://apps.fcc.gov/cores and fill in your username and password in the Username Login box and click LOG IN. Click on Register new FRN. Check boxes to indicate an individual with a contact address in the US, then click CONTINUE. ... If successful, you will get this message: “Thank you for registering with the FCC. Now that you have your FRN you can Pre Registrar for the test session. Go to https://hamstudy.org/ then Find a Session. Pick the session you want to registrar for and fill out form. Now you have PIN Number bring it with you to the session. You are all set. Walk-in bring your FRN with you. Please realize you will need to pre registrar at the session. It is much easier for everyone if you pre registrar at HamStudy.org. It is the same as above. HamStudy is great place to take practice test! If you get 80% there on three consecutive you’ll pass when you come to test with us!
