Exams are free / no cost.
Exams will be held in the Dining Room (building with chimney).
It is highly recommended that you obtain your FRN prior to arrival. There is a link on the Briarpatch Amateur Radio Club website under the License Exam tab that will take you to the FCC webpage.
You may show up without a FRN, however, you will need a cell phone with connectivity on site; connectivity is spotty, and carrier dependent. Expect to take an additional 10-15 minutes applying for an FRN if you have to register on site.
