If you are not 13 years of age or older you may not register for any exam session through HamStudy.org or ExamTools.org until your parent or guardian has filled out our COPPA Parental Consent Form and emailed it to coppa@examtools.org. Please send a courtesy copy to billpoulin01913@gmail.com

Please call If you need to cancel your registration as soon as possible so that we can accommodate someone else waiting to take an exam. If you plan to take more than one exam element, we would also appreciate you e-mailing us a heads-up so that we can plan resources and timing appropriately.

Walk-in applicants are welcome, though if you are planning to attend, it will help the session run more efficiently if you pre-register.

Register for you Federal Registration Number(FRN) at the FCC at: fcc.gov/cores and be sure to write the number down and bring it with you.

TEST FEES:

Adults (over 18 years) $15.00

Under 18/Students: $5.00

Exact Cash of Fees would be appreciated. We do not accept Checks or Credit Card payments.

A valid Email address is required so that We and the FCC can communicate with you and if the FCC cannot, your license can be suspended or cancelled.

You will need to bring an ID to the exam session. It is strongly preferable that this be a government-issued photo ID (e.g. drivers license or learner's permit, passport, etc.). If you do not have a government-issued ID, at the discretion of your VEs, you may be allowed to provide two other forms of ID with your name on them, one of which must be an unexpired photo ID (for example, a current Student ID and a debit card may be acceptable).

If you have passed another ham radio license exam recently and the corresponding license has not yet been issued, please bring both the original and a photocopy of your Certificate of Successful Completion of Exam (CSCE).

You will take your exam on a laptop or touchscreen tablet that we will provide. We have a limited number of tablets available; depending on attendance at the session, you may have to wait a short while until one is available. Exam administration with tablets is much speedier than the traditional paper format, even though the exams are the same.

If you are upgrading your current license {e.g. from Technician to General or General to Extra Class, Please bring the Original and a copy of your current Amateur Radio License.}

Thank you for your attention to this information.
