All Test Candidates must have an FRN number, free from the FCC. Any questions about applying for the FRN, contact David Huston WQ3T at ve-testing@w3kwh.com. The first exam is $15 cash or paypal for those 18 and over, $5 cash or paypal for those under 18. Identification is required, those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Calculators are provided. Cell Phones, iPhones, iPads, Androids, Smartphones, Blackberry devices and all similar electronic devices with a calculator capability, may NOT be used. Bring a pen as well as pencils. All sessions will begin promptly at 7:00, please be a bit early for paperwork and instructions. Clean “Scratch paper” will be provided, please be sure not to write in the test booklet. Also, please note that our test location is known as “Carnegie, PA”. Walk-ins are okay. Special needs people, please email a few days ahead so we are prepared.
