We're happy you've chosen us for your amateur radio exam! Getting started is easy. Just follow the two steps below to complete your registration and book your exam appointment.

STEP 1 — REGISTER IN EXAMTOOLS

Click the 🟠 ORANGE REGISTER 🟠 button at the lower left of this page.

Fill out the required information and submit your registration. Once completed, you'll receive an email titled “Registration Complete.”

STEP 2 — SELECT YOUR EXAM TIME & COMPLETE BOOKING

💥 💥 💥IMPORTANT: Your “Registration Complete” email confirms that you've registered to take an exam, but your exam appointment is not yet booked. IMPORTANT💥 💥 💥

Please follow the booking instructions in your “Registration Complete” email to select your exam time and, if applicable, complete payment.

• Adults: $15 examination fee, payable during booking.
• Youth under 18: Testing is FREE, but you still need to book.
• Exam hours: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Central Time.

Please select the same exam date you chose in ExamTools. If that date or time slot is no longer available, you may choose another date.

Adults: Just note the date change in the booking notes.

Youth applicants: If you need to choose a different date, please email Jeff at jeff@goal1s.com so we can update your registration.

GETTING READY FOR YOUR EXAM

You'll need two camera-equipped devices for your remote Zoom exam. For example, a computer and smartphone, a tablet and smartphone, or two laptops.

Before exam day, please visit our Go AL1S website and review the information under Exam Prep → Day of Exam.

We'll also send you additional instructions and the Zoom information you'll need for your session.
